Police Talk Year 5 and 6
We had PC Andy from The Metropolitan Police come in to speak to the Year 5 and 6 children about different issues that affect the wider community we live in.
He spoke to the children about gangs, knife crime and grooming and built on their learning in PSHE relating to drugs and alcohol.
The learned about ways to keep themselves safe, advice on making decisions relating to their safety and wellbeing and where to go for help.
The children had the chance to ask questions in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
