Clifton Primary School

Aspire to Achieve

Music

Music is a big part of life at Clifton.

Reception, Year 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 have their lessons taught by Miss Nikole from Sing Education. She also runs a choir club after school.

Year 3 learn the ukulele all year and are taught by Ealing Music Service.

Year 5 are offered the opportunity to the join the Young Voices Choir. They spend the Autumn and Spring Term learning 20 songs which they then perform in front of a crowd of thousands at Wembley Arena.

We are also excited to have a great partnership with Tenebrae Choir who support or music education beyond the National Curriculum for children across Key Stage 2.

Indonesian Puppet Music Project

We were SO lucky to take part in the Indonesian Puppet Music Project alongside other schools in Ealing. Children from Year 3 worked so hard on this project and performed to a huge audience of children, parents/carers and special guests. Watch the video below to learn about the project and see some of our children practicing and talking about how it supported it them in their learning.
