Aspire to Achieve

Educational Psychology

Educational Psychologists work in schools with children, teachers and parents to try to help children and young people get the best out of their time at school. EPs use psychology to explore and understand all the different factors that might affect a pupil’s learning, behaviour and wellbeing, and to work out what will help each individual child.

My name is Lynne Copeland. I meet regularly with Miss Corrigan to talk about children and young people who may need my support.

I support children at Clifton in many different areas, including:

  • Memory
  • Learning
  • Feelings
  • Concentration
  • Relationships
  • Behaviour

When I am supporting a child at Clifton, I might:

  • Spend time in your child’s class
  • Talk and listen to you and your child.
  • Talk to people who know your child well.
  • Complete assessments according to your child’s needs.

Before I work with any child at Clifton, Miss Corrigan always asks for permission from the parents.
