Hello my name is Tash Broman and I am a Counselling Services Manager for Ealing schools Counselling Partnership. I am here to provide support to parents and children who may be struggling with something.
Everyone needs someone to talk to sometimes and I provide a confidential space to talk about any worries or concerns you may have about your child or issues you are facing that may be affecting you as a parent.
At lunchtime on Monday, children can ask to come to the 'Space' to talk with me about any big feelings they have like worry, anger, sadness or fear. They are allowed to bring a friend and we often meet in groups.
I also work alongside Collette Boardman who is a Child Psychotherapy trainee. Collette works with children 1:1 in therapy, using play and the arts to help children express themselves and heal from challenging events.
I am at Clifton Primary school every Monday and parents can make an appointment to see me by calling me, emailing me, texting me or through the school office. I look forward to meeting you!
Hello, my name is Collette Boardman and I am an integrative child psychotherapist, currently in training at Terapia Institute (terapia.co.uk). You can usually find me in our play therapy room, ‘The Space’, or around the school, every Monday.
I work with a mixture of art forms, including painting, drawing, clay, sandplay, puppets, games and storytelling, to offer the child a safe, creative space where they can express a range of feelings.
We usually find that children who receive this kind of regular, one-to-one support learn how to manage big feelings, and become calmer and more confident. Often, with time, they get to know themselves and the people around them a lot better.
If you have any questions, or would like a chat about the service we offer, just come and say hi.
