Visit from Virendra Sharma - Member of Parliament
In April 2018, we were lucky enough to have the MP for Southall and Ealing Virendra Sharma visit our school.
He spoke to us in assembly about where he was born, when he came to England and his journey to becoming a Member of Parliament. After assembly, he spent the first lesson of the day in Churchill Class watching their PSHE Eat Like a Champ - Healthy Eating lesson. The children were learning all about how to read food labels, and what to look for in deciding whether or not it is healthy or not. Mr Sharma was really impressed by the pupils behaviour for learning and how engaged they were in lesson, taught by Miss Das.
