Children's Mental Health Week 2022

Children's Mental Health Week

We celebrated Children's Mental Health Week from Monday 7th February to Friday 11th February. During this week, we reflected on all the ways we have grown emotionally. It has been a challenging time during the pandemic but we are so proud of all the things we have achieved and the resilience we have shown.

To celebrate, we had an assembly with Miss H Dhaliwal where we talked about what it means to grow together through our experiences. We shared our thoughts on how we have done this as a school and individually. We also watched the Growth Story of YolanDa Brown, a talented saxaphonist, composer and broadcaster, who spoke about how resilience and determination got her to where she is today.

In class, we encouraged each other to keep learning and achieving and thought about ways to look after our mental health and well being.

We also had Dress to Express Friday, where we came into school wearing outfits that expressed our own unique style and personality. This was to celebrate us as individuals and our journey.
