At Clifton Primary School, we believe that every child should have access to a healthy, nutritious and enjoyable meal during the school day.

Thanks to funding from the Mayor of London, all children in Reception to Year 6 at London state-funded primary schools can enjoy a free school meal during the 2026–2027 academic year, regardless of family income.

How Does It Work?

There is no need to book or order meals in advance. Simply look at the menu below and, on the day your child would like a school meal, they can let their teacher know during morning registration. It's that simple!

Our School Meals

Our school meals are provided by ISS, freshly prepared on site and served in our downstairs dining hall.

We offer a varied menu of healthy, balanced and nutritious meals, including meat, fish and vegetarian options. Both halal and non-halal choices are available.

Our kitchen is nut-free, and we work to accommodate pupils with allergies and other dietary requirements.

Every day, children can also enjoy our self-service salad bar, offering a selection of fresh vegetables, mixed salads and homemade bread.

Free School Meals Eligibility

Although school meals are currently free for all primary-aged pupils, we encourage families who may qualify for benefits-related free school meals to register.

Eligible registrations can help the school receive additional Pupil Premium funding, which supports children's learning and wider educational opportunities.

Please visit our Pupil Premium page for further information and to check eligibility.
