Clifton Primary School

The Clifton family is united in striving to create a calm, safe and positive school which nurtures friendships

e-Safety

The internet has become a really useful and fun way of learning, playing games and talking to friends and family. There are lots of things you can do online which are brilliant, however it is also important to remember that there can be risks and it is important to stay safe.

At Clifton we learn how to spot these risks that we may come across when using technology and understand how to deal with these situations so that we can make the right choices and stay safe.

Being safe online is very important! Make sure you remember to follow the SMART rules!

Safer Internet Day 2017

On Tuesday 7th February 2017 it was Safer Inter Day, and Clifton was part of 1,606 schools around the country who took part in promoting using the Internet safely.

Mr Murphy and Mandela Class told us all about the Internet, and how to protect your personal information by not publishing photos of yourself online.

If you are worried about something online and want some help you can:

  • Tell an adult. This could be a parent, carer, teacher or another trusted adult.

  • Tell one of your school CyberMentors

  • Visit one of the websites below for more help and advice
