The use of computing is an important part of school life. We believe Computing at Clifton will allow the children to become confident users of new and changing technology. As computing is such an increasing part of life today, it is essential that all pupils gain the confidence and ability that they need in this subject, to prepare them for the challenge and equipping them for their future in a rapidly developing technological world.
Our computing curriculum teaches children the skills they need to access different programs and become confident users of technology, including areas such as programming. We encourage the children to use their computational thinking to solve problems and be creative with the range of programs that we use within the school. We also equip children with the skills to deal with any e-safety issues they may have online and to use the internet safely and positively.
